Hand knotted 100% natural silk, Turkish Herekeh, signed carpet. Double knot weave with a high count of over 600 knots PSI, producing a very high quality 100% natural silk on silk rug. Turkish Herekeh silk carpets normally have very detailed patterns and symbols in an intricate design justifying the complexity and the time to weave with pure Silk thread. Off-white and cranberry red are the primary colors of this carpet, accented with shades of blue, tan, taupe, brown and green. Each pattern is woven like two birds in a nest.
